There is a deep relationship that is forged
in battle. Soldiers seldom fight for lofty ideals.
They fight to save the life of their buddy in the fox hole next
to them.
The
story of Easy Company, a group of American soldiers in World War
II, tells about the hardship and horrors of war and how the
jointly experienced events forge a life long love and respect
for these soldiers. Christian soldiers have similar
experiences. Having fought many church battles, they may
have been on different battle fields at different times, but the
results are the same. Soldiers who have no one to
understand them except other soldiers who have seen the same
battles and received the same wounds. But, we are
determined to not leave one soldier behind. Not one of us
will die alone or lonely. You have a friend. You
have someone who cares for you. You belong to a band of
brothers. more.
